Payment options
The platform is prepared for Cashfree, PayPal and Stripe when each provider is enabled, approved and configured by the publisher. Availability depends on country, currency, provider approval and applicable regulation.
Checkout requirements
Before payment, checkout should identify the journal/service, manuscript or invoice reference, amount, currency, tax, waiver/discount and final payable total. Payment does not influence editorial decisions.
Security and verification
Payment credentials must use provider-approved checkout/tokenization. Secret keys remain server-side. A payment is marked paid only after server-side verification of provider status; webhook signatures must be verified where webhooks are used. Duplicate, failed or pending transactions must not be treated as settled.
Receipts and currency
Successful payments are linked to an invoice/order and transaction reference. Provider/bank currency conversion or international transaction charges may be separate from the publisher amount.
